ASIIN and the Association of Sino-German Universities (Colleges) of Applied Sciences (ASGUAH) have signed a collaboration agreement for the improvement of the Chinese Higher Education Sector.
On 3 June 2024, the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) reauthorised ASIIN to award the EUR-ACE® label for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes.
At its last meeting, the ASIIN Accreditation Commission bid farewell to its long-standing Chair, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Katrin Lehmann (Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg). Prof. Lehmann had been a member of the Accreditation Commission since 2018 and one of the two chairs since 2019. The Board, the members, the Accreditation Commission and the ASIIN office would like to thank Prof. Lehmann for her services to promoting the quality of study programmes in Germany and worldwide.
The ASIIN Accreditation Commission met in Düsseldorf on 21/22 March 2024 for its quarterly meeting.
Led by the Chair, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Katrin Lehmann (Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg) and the Deputy Chair, Prof. Dr. Robert Hänsch (Technische Universität Braunschweig), the Accreditation Commission dealt with 38 applications for programme accreditation and one application for system accreditation.
At its first meeting on 26 February 2024, the new Board, which has been in office since the beginning of the year, elected Prof. Dr Klaus Kreulich as Chair and Prof. Dr Christian Andreas Schumann as Vice Chair.
