As a partner of the EU-funded ARISA project, ASIIN has been part of a four-year journey to tackle Europe's growing AI skills gap. We are proud to invite you to the project's Final Conference, where we will look back on what has been achieved and discuss the road ahead for AI education and certification in Europe.
On 25 February 2026, the ASIIN Executive Board adopted the new Strategy Plan 2026–2030. This marks the successful conclusion of the broad-based strategy process launched in spring 2024, with the organisation now consistently aligning its course to meet the challenges of a dynamic national and international education and innovation space.
At its meeting on 25 February 2026, the ASIIN Executive Board decided to appoint Dr Siegfried Hermes as Deputy Managing Director of ASIIN e.V. with effect from 1 March 2026.
ASIIN is pleased to welcome MathWorks as a new member at the beginning of 2026. With MathWorks GmbH, ASIIN gains an internationally operating company as an institutional member—one that is firmly anchored in teaching, research, and industrial practice.
The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) and the accreditation agency ASIIN e.V. have agreed on a close cooperation, formalized through reciprocal institutional memberships. Since the beginning of 2026, the BVMW is officially a new member of ASIIN.
