Volunteer Work at ASIIN: Interview with Philipp Leipold

Philipp Leipold
Philipp Leipold
Partner at Simply Rational GmbH

Philipp Leipold brings together business, science, and education in a distinctive way: with a degree in psychology, he spent many years working in research and is now Managing Partner of Simply Rational GmbH. He is also a volunteer at ASIIN. In 2020, Philipp Leipold was among the co-founders of the ASIIN Economic Advisory Board. Together with twelve other representatives from the business world, he contributes a practice-oriented perspective to higher education there. The goal is to align degree programs more closely with the demands of professional life and to foster dialogue between universities and industry. In addition, Philipp Leipold serves on the Certification Commission, working on the quality of continuing education programs and contributing his extensive experience in learning, teaching methods, and skills development.

In the interview, Philipp Leipold talks about the origins of and motivation behind the Economic Advisory Board, the role of artificial intelligence as a "magnifying glass" for the transformation of the world of work, and the opportunities that engagement with ASIIN offers companies.

He also shares what his volunteer work personally gives back to him – and why ASIIN's 25th anniversary was such a moving occasion for him.
