ASIIN e.V. is pleased to announce the admission of the German Association of Faculties of Mathematics and Natural Sciences as a new member. This decision was taken at the last ASIIN Board meeting on 18 June 2024 and marks a significant step in the expansion of the network.

The Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty Association (MNFT) represents all mathematics and natural sciences faculties / departments with the subjects of biology, chemistry, geosciences, mathematics, physics and pharmacy at German state universities. It advises on current issues and future developments in teaching and research, in particular on course content, curricula and organisational forms of mathematics and natural sciences subjects at German universities. In addition, it represents the mathematics and natural sciences subjects in public and establishes contacts with international organisations of equal standing.

The ASIIN Board, the members and the ASIIN office warmly welcome the German Association of Faculties of Mathematics and Natural Sciences to the ASIIN community and look forward to a successful co-operation in the pursuit of outstanding educational quality and the promotion of innovation.
