EASPA Webinar on Developments in European Quality Assurance

On behalf of the European Alliance for Subject-Specific and Professional Accreditation and Quality Assurance (EASPA), ASIIN cordially invites interested parties to participate in the webinar "New Developments in European Quality Assurance", which will take place on Tuesday, March 30th from 14h00-16h30 CEST.

Programme:

  1. Presentation by the Rui Costa, Secretary general of the International Food Association (IFA), which manages a global QA system for food science and engineering and who will give an overview concerning its ongoing activites (Accreditation, European projects, conferences, online course databases, ejournals)
  2. Presentation by John Butler, EQA Arts, about new European QA developments in the area of arts (to be confirmed)
  3. Presentation by Jutta Breyer, (chief QA officer) of the European ESSA Project (European Software Skills Alliance), a project of interest to all of us, as here there is one advanced example for the framework conditions of creating a pan-European disciplinary qualification framework (developing a joint language, integrating the perspective of HE and employers as well as specific job profiles etc).
  4. Brief Overview concerning the new possibilities of international recognition for EASPA members (by Dr. Iring Wasser).


As EASPA plans to establish a series of webinars, which will take place in a regular rhythm, current and potential new members are invited to send proposals for future webinar topics and presentations to gf@asiin.de.
