At its meeting on 25 February 2026, the ASIIN Executive Board decided to appoint Dr Siegfried Hermes as Deputy Managing Director of ASIIN e.V. with effect from 1 March 2026.

Dr Hermes has been working for ASIIN since October 2007. Until he moved to ASIIN Consult GmbH in 2019, he was primarily responsible for programme accreditations in the fields of electrical engineering/information technology, physical technologies and processes, and agricultural, forestry and food sciences, and also supported the ASIIN General Assembly.

In his new role, Dr Hermes will be responsible in particular for ASIIN's internal quality management and for networking with members and external stakeholders.
