German Federation of Chemical Employers Associations
The German Federation of Chemical Employers‘ Associations (Bundesarbeitgeberverband Chemie e.V. – BAVC) in Wiesbaden is the head employers‘ organization for the chemical industry in Germany. In conjunction with its 10 regional member associations, the BAVC represents the interests of more than 1,900 chemical companies with about 580,000 employees.
The member companies reflect the chemical industry and the chemical fibres industry in all its variety, including large sections of the rubber and plastic processing industries. As a service organization for its member companies, the BAVC offers a competent service covering all issues of wage and social policy. The fostering of high quality levels in the area of vocational education and training (vet) including further training as well as in the area of study programs in Chemistry is also a major concern of the BAVC.
