Workshop Series: Leading Higher Education Institutions – The Future of the Actors
The developments in the political and legal field surrounding higher education in recent years, the higher level of autonomy and the more complex internal procedures, as well as the increased interconnection with external partners has caused the institutions to have to confront new tasks. They have had to re-align their structure and the persons who operate within that structure. In higher education institutions, the recognition grows of the fact that the challenges of the future can only be met with self-governance and organising research and education by professionalising the acting persons.
The workshops in this series focus on the leadership competences of the actors – deans, planners, general managers, programme managers, among others – and aim to impart practice-oriented know-how.
