Prof. Tutun Nugraha

Tutun Nugraha is currently the Rector of International University Liaison Indonesia (IULI). IULI University is located in BSD City, Banten, Indonesia. He completed his education for Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and later for his Master’s dan Doctorate Degree, also in Chemical Engineering, at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Prior to this he also worked at the University of Western Australia, in Perth, Australia, and Swiss German University, in BSD City, Indonesia, also before that, at the Indonesian National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN) as a researcher.
IULI University was established based on cooperation with German University consortium, and also with the DAAD, to provide trans-national education system in Indonesia, offering the excellence of German education system to be experienced by IULI students. IULI University has a unique perspective in developing cooperation with German university partners. Particularly in developing programs for its students to complete their degree through cooperation with German academic institutions. The cooperation has been running since the conception of the University in 2015, and has facilitated students to join student exchange programs, or double degree programs, that include industrial internship work programs in Germany. Through its cooperation with the DAAD, various scholarships have also been made available for students wishing to get experience of studying in Germany. The joint development of curricula for the 3+1 program, in which students study in IULI Indonesia Campus for 3 years, followed by 1 year study and internship in Germany, has been the main program that is offered to IULI Students, and is still running until currently.
