Evaluation
Among the evaluation services offered by ASIIN, we distinguish between two basic types of evaluations:
Evaluations for quality assurance and improvement of studies and teaching according to ESG (Type 1)
These evaluations are standardized. They refer either to individual, academic educational programs or to institutions and the focus is on external quality assurance. They aim to assess the quality of their educational programs using externally defined quality criteria.
By choosing this type of evaluation and certain, externally defined quality criteria as test parameters, the subsequent steps are largely determined. In the procedure, the standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) must be observed - e.g. with regard to stakeholder participation in the expert groups or publication of the evaluation reports.
Evaluations of quality and organizational development (Type 2)
Evaluations of this type are tailored to your needs. They serve quality- and organizational development. The focus of Type 2 evaluations is on consulting, development, optimisation, design and/or balance-sheet and impact analysis of the object being evaluated.
We will work with you to select the evaluation criteria and evaluation instruments and ensure they are in line with your evaluation objectives. The results of these evaluations are used exclusively for the purposes defined by your institution, e.g. for strategic decisions, internal discussions and the further development of the evaluated object.
