Eve Alcock

Eve Alcock is currently the Head of Public Affairs at the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in the UK (QAA), leading on their policy, stakeholder engagement, and communications work. Since January 2023 she has been leading the QAA’s response to generative artificial intelligence.

Prior to QAA, Eve worked at the Clean Air Fund, a charitable foundation working internationally to tackle air pollution. At Clean Air Fund she developed the organisation's approach to communications, advocacy and strategic partnerships, mobilising the private sector around clean air and engaging policymakers on the issue of development funding.

Her background in higher education comes from her two years as President of the University of Bath’s Students’ Union between 2018-2020, where she was a governor of the University and Chair of the SU’s Board of Trustees. She has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bath, including a year spent a year in industry working for the youth offending service in Bath. She is passionate about justice, Korean food and coffee.
