Prof. Wouter Duyck

Prof. Wouter Duyck is a full professor of cognitive psychology, affiliated with Ghent University. He was the chair of the Master program in psychology for 12 years. He received the triannual Prix de Psychologie for the best doctoral dissertation in psychological sciences by the Belgian Académie Royale des Sciences, des Lettres et des Beaux-Arts. He supervised 14 doctoral dissertations and published over 125 scientific papers in renowned international journals, all on topics related to cognition, learning and memory. He advises several political parties on educational policy, served on many policy commissions, and develops orientation tools for higher education for the Flemish government. Since 2020, he is the vice-president of NVAO, the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation, the QA agency for Netherlands and Flanders.
