Cooperation Partners of ASIIN

The 4ING-Faculty Committee of Engineering and Informatics at Universities (4ING-Fakultätentage der Ingenieurwissenschaften und Informatik an Universitäten e.V.), the Mathematics-Natural Sciences Faculty Committee (MNFT), the Conference of Subject Area Committees as well as ASIIN, are all part of the „Strategic partnership for the assurance and further development of high quality standards in higher MINT education”.

The main objective is to intensify the cooperation for the further development of subject-specific requirements for degree programmes offered in the disciplines of Natural Sciences (MINT-area), that also cater to the needs of science and industry.

The strategic partnership presented is principally open for participation of and exchange with stakeholders from science and education, from the student population, the industry, politics and society, as well as from the accreditation system.

The Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI) is the body responsible for the accreditation of engineering degree programmes in France. Since 2005, a cooperation agreement has been effective that also includes the cooperation in accreditations of bi-national degree programmes.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a joint institution of German higher education institutions and promotes the international relations of German higher education institutions with those abroad by the exchange of students and researchers and by international programmes and projects. In addition, the DAAD functions as mediator for foreign cultural politics, university and science-related politics as well as for cooperation development in higher education.

ASIIN and DAAD agreed on closer cooperation in early 2007.

The Fédération Européenne d’Associations Nationales d’Ingénieurs (FEANI) represents national engineering associations from 26 European countries and the interests of over 2 million professional engineers in Europe. Through its activities and services, especially with the award of the EUR ING professional title, FEANI promotes the mutual recognition of engineering qualifications in Europe. FEANI is a founding member of ENAEE, of which ASIIN is also a member.
