Programme Accreditation Commission

The ASIIN Programme Accreditation Commission carries out the following tasks:

  • Defining the procedural principles and standards for the accreditation
    of degree programmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Mathematics and related fields.
  • Taking necessary measures for the international recognition of the
    accredited degrees.
  • Appointing the audit teams for the degree programmes to be
    accredited. When appointing the audit teams, the committee must consider the recommendations of the Technical Committees in an appropriate manner.
  • Deciding on the accreditation of the degree programmes based on the
    expert opinions of the audit teams and the opinion of the Technical Committees.
  • Maintaining and publishing the list of accredited degree programmes
  • Appointing the Technical Committees.
  • Be responsible for the instruction and training of auditors.
  • Reporting on the committee’s activities to the Board of the association.
